Coral pendant ”CAMEINO”

Corallo Satsuma (Pacific Ocean), black spinel, 750 / °° yellow gold.

Dark orange Satsuma coral (Pacific Ocean), , 750 / °° yellow gold, granato, tanzanite.

A delightful low relief engraving in dark orange coral, an icon of coral jewellery, revisited in my way. An oval with the classic female face, carved in the smallest details, with three drops of semi-precious stones. The engraving dates back to the 1980s.

The corallo used for this engraving is an orange coral called Momo or Satsuma, coming from the Pacific Ocean.

The pendant measures 17 x 49 mm. the coral cameo measures 15×23 mm, thickness approximately 10mm .

I mounted the fireplace with a special bezel ”per day” with twisted gold thread, to highlight the beauty of the coral to the maximum, and three faceted drops, two of garnet and one of tanzanite. Garnet drops are a total of 1,00 carat. Tanzanite is 2,30 carat. He passing, always in 750/°° gold, It has an internal diameter of 4-5mm.

I made this coral pendant in my workshop, by hand, with traditional techniques and equipment, like my every jewel.

As a tribute with the pendant I will send a handmade cotton cord with golden metal finishes.

The coral, as it is totally natural, may have some small imperfections (small holes and cracks)
clearly visible from the photos. These imperfections are natural and do not compromise the stability of the coral.

CORAL NORD deals ONLY with authentic coral from the Mediterranean or the Pacific. I don't treat the so-called Bamboo Coral, which is not a precious gem.
