Coral pendant ”CAMEINO”

Satsuma red coral (Pacific Ocean), black spinel, 750 / °° yellow gold.

A delightful bas-relief carving in red coral, small in size. A small oval with the classic feminine face, carved in the smallest details. The engraving was made in Italy and dates back to the 80s-90s.

The corallo used for this engraving is an orange coral called Momo or Satsuma, coming from the Pacific Ocean.

The pendant measures 13×45 mm. the coral cameo measures 11×21 mm.

I mounted the fireplace with a special bezel ”per day” with twisted gold thread, to highlight the beauty of the coral to the maximum, and a drop of black spinel faceted by 2,50 carat. He passing, always in 750/°° gold, It has an internal diameter of 4-5mm.

I made this coral pendant in my workshop, by hand, with traditional techniques and equipment, like my every jewel.

As a tribute with the pendant I will send a handmade cotton cord with golden metal finishes.

The coral, as it is totally natural, may have some small imperfections (small holes and cracks)
clearly visible from the photos. These imperfections are natural and do not compromise the stability of the coral.

CORAL NORD deals ONLY with authentic coral from the Mediterranean or the Pacific. I don't treat the so-called Bamboo Coral, which is not a precious gem.
