Gold and lapis lazuli earrings ”MANGA CLOUDS”

My research also continues on cutting stones into shapes and sizes that are not always usual in jewelry.

For these earrings I cut small, light clouds of lapis lazuli, with small visible pyrite inclusions. I then engraved a small groove on the edge where to fit the gold wire bezel, and soldered onto the lower side of the bezel three pieces of delicate gold chain where a small red coral lightning bolt hangs, two drops of colored precious stones, a topaz and a pink sapphire, for a total of 6,00 carat.

I then inserted a small engraved mother-of-pearl star to give further movement to the cascade of drops hanging from the gold chains.

These earrings are entirely produced in my workshop: from the cloud cut to the yellow gold setting, everything was handmade by me, with ancient techniques and traditional tools. each piece is therefore unique and unrepeatable.
