I continue with my new passion for carving hard stones with these new pendants.
Still inspired by water, to the underwater world, vi presento queste ”FLUKE” , Balena queues in various fine stones, hand engraved in my laboratory.
In this case it is a pendant in lapislazzuli naturale, di un blu molto intenso, With small white storage skirts.
I particularly treated the harmony and fluidity of the forms, so that the weight, The shape and smoothness of the sculpted stone give a tactile pleasure, In addition to making it a unique ornament of its kind.
Fluke is the stroke of luck, But also the caudal fin of the whale, And here my pendant takes on a double meaning: as a lucky but also evocative of the largest mammal on the planet.
The whale tail is a strong reference to the depth of the oceans, to the desire to discover the unknown, even when sometimes this is within ourselves. E’ therefore a strongly evocative amulet of the journey and introspection.

I mounted this pendant with a silver loop, but upon request I can remake it in gold 18 k of adequate thickness. You can request it by specifying it in the variants.

I made both the tail and the mount myself, by hand with traditional tools, in my studio in Italy.
Together with the pendant I will send a leather cord with gold or silver finishes, depending on your choice.
